I've been licensed since 1988 and my first call sign was KA1SVK. My favorite parts of the hobby are operating during the HF contests and rag chewing on VHF/UHF simplex. I received my new call sign in 2001. Currently we have in the shack: Kenwood TS-850 & TS-440 for HF, Kenwood TM-V7A VHF/UHF. My antennas consist of the Diamond X200a vertical for 2m/70cm, Cushcraft 13B2 2m beam, Hy-Gain TH3Jr for 10/15/20, Gap Titan for 10-80, and a homemade trap dipole for 40/80/160.

For fun, I've added an audio section to my HF, VHF & UHF work using either an EV RE-20 or the Behringer B-1 and a Behringer VX2000 audio processor.I've been working in broadcast radio for 30 years, with some part time on-air jobs, but mainly as the Operations Director & IT Director of the Connecticut Radio Network.
